Pottery Bank - Prohibition Any Traffic For Works
What is happening?
CITY OF NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE
(POTTERY BANK) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 25 September 2025 the Council of the City of Newcastle upon Tyne made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any traffic to proceed on
i - Yelverton Crescent from Caldbeck Avenue, Northwards for 7 metres.
ii - Pottery Bank from Caldbeck Avenue, Northwards for 45 metres.
iii - Windhill Road from Pottery Bank to Oldfield Road.
2. The alternative route for traffic will be signed on site as required.
3. The order is required to allow works to be carried out on or near the highway.
4. Exemptions will be provided for vehicles and personnel engaged in the said works.
5. The Order will come into operation on 8 October 2025 and will continue, as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed, up to 7 October 2026 or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
