Sutton St Nicholas, Herefordshire - Temporary Road Closure due to Carriageway Defect Repair Works

Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1125 From The Vauld To The River Lugg, Sutton St Nicholas, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1125 From The Vauld To The River Lugg, Sutton St Nicholas, between Bramley Drive Access and the bridge crossing. Grid Ref: 353150/245276. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A4103 onto the A49 onto the C1120 onto the C1126 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to carriageway defect repairs works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place.

The said closure will come into force on 27th of October 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within
