Church Hill, Temporary Road Closure Due To New Supply Works
What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of West Monkton Temporary Closure of Church Hill
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Church Hill - from 395 metres south of the junction with Burlinch Lane, south-eastwards for a total distance of 149 metres. This Order will enable Complete Utilities to carry out new supply works on behalf of National Grid.
The Order becomes effective on 16th October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 20th October 2025 and last until 24th October 2025 between the hours of 08:00 - 17:00 for a total of 5 days.
