THE SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL

Rusham Road (D3185) Egham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

On 01 October 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Rusham Road (D3185) Egham as extends from its junction with (C10) Station Road to its junction with (D3185) Queens Road.

Alternative Route: Rusham Road, North Street, Grange Road, (B3407) Church Road, and Station Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate main water repair works for, or on behalf of Affinity Water.

These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day, between the hours of 8am and 4pm, within the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 13 October 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.

Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. It will not be possible to maintain access through the closure for emergency services, residents and businesses and all vehicular traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route. The Council are satisfied that, in accordance with Section 3(2)(a) and 3(2)(b) of the Act, vehicular access to and from premises within the length of road above, or accessible only therefrom, may be restricted in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road and/or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.
