What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF ENFIELD

PROPOSED INTRODUCTION OF THE ENFIELD EVENT DAY ZONE [ZONE SS], AND AMENDMENTS TO WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Enfield (the Council) propose to make The Enfield (Event Day) (Parking Places) (Amendment No.) Order 202 and the Enfield (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No. *) Traffic Order 202 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

  1. The general effect of the Orders would be to:

    (1) Introduce a part-time event day (zone SS) zone controls operating Noon to 9pm on event days in Leonard Road, Sunnyside Road East, Sunnyside Road North and Sunnyside Road South.

    (2) Double yellow line waiting restriction amendments in Leonard Road, Sunnyside Road East, Sunnyside Road North and Sunnyside Road South.

    (3) The permit charges would be free for one year and subject to an annual review after the first year.

  2. A copy of the proposed Orders and other documents giving detailed particulars about them can be inspected at the Town Library, 66 Church Street, Enfield EN2 6AX, Monday to Fridays 9am – 5pm inclusive, or online at:

    or can also be obtained by emailing journeysandplaces@enfield.gov.uk or by writing to the Journeys and Places Team (quoting reference TG52/1597) Civic Centre, Silver Street, Enfield, Middlesex, EN1 3XD.

  3. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Orders or make any other representations must do so by midnight on 26 October 2025. Any such objection or any representation must be in writing, quoting reference TG52/1597, and must state the grounds on which it is made. Objections or representations can be made in any of the following ways:
