What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order Britwell Salome, Road running West from Old Post Office Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 13 October 2025 Coming into force: 20 October 2025 This Order is being introduced because of excavation for fibre cable work which is anticipated to take 9 days to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit vehicles proceeding in the section of road running west from the junction of the B4009 to Orchard Close. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The diversion will be signed locally. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T16269/MR)
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order Henley, Greys Road Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 13 October 2025 Coming into force: 20 October 2025 This Order is being introduced because of sewer repair work which is anticipated to take 12 days to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit vehicles proceeding in the section of Greys Road outside No.13. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The diversion for this closure is via Duke St – Market Place – Gravel Hill – Paradise Rd – Deanfield Avenue – Greys Rd and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T16235/MR)
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order Goring Heath, Deadman’s Lane Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 13 October 2025 Coming into force: 20 October 2025 This Order is being introduced because of excavation to install duct work which is anticipated to take 18 days to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit vehicles proceeding in the section of Deadman’s Lane. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The diversion for this closure is via B4526 – Unnamed Road – Deadman’s Lane and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T16446/MR)
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order Watlington, Unnamed Road at Greenfield Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 13 October 2025 Coming into force: 20 October 2025 This Order is being introduced because of water main replacement work which is anticipated to take 15 weeks to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit vehicles proceeding in the section of unnamed road at Greenfield from the junction of Stokenchurch Church to the junction with Howe Hill. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The diversion for this closure is via Hill Road – Shirburn Street – Howe Road – Patermore Lane – Balhams Lane – North End and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T16538/MR)
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order Deddington, Earls Lane Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 13 October 2025 Coming into force: 20 October 2025 This Order is being introduced because of water main replacement work which is anticipated to take 3 months to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit vehicles proceeding in the section of Earls Lane from the junction of Banbury Road to Castle St. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The diversion for this closure is via the B4031 & A4260 and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T16539/MR)
