PUBLIC NOTICE

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(U23402 Packhorse Lane, Kings Norton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U23402 Packhorse Ln from its junction with U23403 Baccabox Ln to its junction with C2040 Middle Ln.

Reason: Gas main replacement by Cadent.

Alternative Route:

Southbound Diversion – U23402 Packhorse Ln (part), U23403 Batemans Ln, C2036 Silver St, C2040 Middle Ln, U23402 Packhorse Ln (part) and vice versa.

Northbound Diversion – U23402 Packhorse Ln (part), C2040 Middle Ln, 22171 Dark Ln, U23403 Baccabox Ln and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.

Anticipated duration: 5 days (24hrs).

Commencing: 6 October 2025.

(U23245 Church Walk, Alvechurch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U23245 Church Walk from its junction with C2001 Bear Hill for a distance of 110 metres in a south westerly direction.

Reason: Utility work by BT.

Alternative Route: Not diversion possible as it is a cul-de-sac.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.

Anticipated duration: 3 days.

Commencing: 27 October 2025.

(Link Footpath F30084 Cleeve Close, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of Link Footpath F30084 Cleeve Cl (btw no. 4/5) from its junction with U32210 Cleeve Cl to its junction with U32211 Acton Cl.

Reason: Footway Reconstruction by WCC.

Alternative route: U32210 Cleeve Cl, Link Footpath F30084 Cleeve Cl (Side No.22), U32211 Acton Cl and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 6 Months.

Anticipated duration: 7 days between 25 October 2025 and 2 November 2025.

(C2036 Lea End Lane, Hopwood) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2036 Lea End Ln from its junction with U23203 Inkfield St for a distance of 70 metres in a south westerly direction.

Reason: Pole renewal by Openreach.

Alternative route: U23203 Inkfield St, C2042 Redhill Rd into Birmingham, A441 Birmingham Rd, C2036 Lea End Ln (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.

Anticipated duration: 1 day.

Commencing: 23 October 2025.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (A4189 Warwick Highway, Redditch) (Temporary 20 Mph Speed Limit) (Westbound Only)  Order 2025

Proposed order: To impose a temporary 20 mph speed limit on that part of A4189 Warwick Highway from a point of 315 metres west of its junction with A4189 Warwick Highway Roundabout for a distance of 725 metres in a westerly direction.

Reason: Tree maintenance by WCC.

Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.

Anticipated duration: 1 day.

Commencing: 23 October 2025.

(Borough of Redditch) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2009 (Variation) Order 2025 [Disabled Person’s Parking Space on Marsden Road, Redditch]

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to create a disabled persons’ parking space on the following length and side of road in Redditch:

Marsden Road (north side) from a point 39 metres of its junction with Summer Street for a distance of 6.6 metres in a south easterly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.
