Windsor, Temporary Prohibition Of Driving Order For Sunninghill Victorian Street Fayre

What is happening?

THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF WINDSOR & MAIDENHEAD

(SUNNINGHILL VICTORIAN STREET FAYRE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING ORDER 2025 SECTION 16A ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984)

The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:-

Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of the B3020 High Street, Sunninghill between its junctions with Kings Road and Charters Lane, and along that part of B3020 Bagshot Road, Sunninghill between its junctions with Charters Lane and Fox Covert Close. The restriction shall apply to those lengths of roads specified at such times when signs in accordance with the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are duly in place to indicate the said restrictions.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is via B3020 Sunninghill Road, A329 London Road, A329 High Street Ascot, A330 Station Hill, A330 Brockenhurst Road and B3020 Bagshot Road.

The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate the holding of a relevant event, namely the Sunninghill Street Fayre.

The proposed Order will come into operation between 10.00 hours and 18.00 hours on Sunday 16th November 2025.
