London Road, Temporary Road Closure For Essential Tree Work

What is happening?

BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL (A329 LONDON ROAD, BRACKNELL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from travelling along:

  1. A329 London Road, Bracknell in both directions between the junctions of Rufford Gate and Old Tollgate Close.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via: A329 Church Road, A3095 Bagshot Road, A322 Bagshot Road, A322 Swinley Road, A332 Kings Ride and this route reversed.

The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while essential tree work is carried out.

The proposed Order will come into operation on the 21st November 2025, and its maximum duration will be 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the road closure will be in place between 09:30 21st November 2025 – 15:00 21st November 2025.

This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
