Clifton Road - Temporary Road Closure For Improvement And Maintenance Of Highway Assets
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE CLIFTON ROAD, NETHERSEAL
WHEN: 20th October to 24th October 2025
WHERE: Clifton Road, Netherseal from a point approx. 140m west of its Jct. with Hunts Lane for an approx. distance of 170m west.
REASON: To facilitate improvement and maintenance of highway assets.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Clifton Road, Hunts Lane, Sandy Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
