Fleet, Hart, Hampshire - Multiple roads temporarily closed due to Fleet 5k & 10k Road Race
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 to allow the Fleet 5k & 10K Road Race to take place out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Kings Road between its junction with Fleet Road and its junction with Albert Street. (09:00-09:45) Fleet Road between its junction with Reading Road North and its junction with Elvetham Road. (09:00-11:00) Elvetham Road between its junction with Fleet Road and its junction with Reading Road North. (09:30-11:00) Reading Road North between its junction with Fleet Road and its junction with Hitches Lane. (09:25-11:00)
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: N/A. (Road reopens once final runner has passed the road)
DURATION OF ORDER: from Sunday 26th October 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the event whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day working between the hours 09:00-11:30).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate the event for Fleet 5k & 10K Road Race.
