What is happening?

BRIGHTON AND HOVE CITY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER – WEST STREET AND MIDDLE STREET, BRIGHTON

  1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council have on the 24th September made an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which has the following effect:-

  • The temporary suspension of the taxi rank on the eastern side of West Street for approx. 23m. The suspension will be in place between the hours of 07:00 - 18:00hrs Monday to Friday and 07:00 - 13:00hrs Saturday and excluding bank holidays
  • The Suspension of the parking bays in Middle Street opposite approx. properties 66 - 71 for approx. 23m

  1. The Order is necessary to allow contractors to carry out development works.

  2. This Order comes into force on 1st October for 24 months.
