What is happening?

THE PORTSMOUTH CITY COUNCIL
PROPOSED DISABLED PERSONS' PARKING PLACES AND AMENDMENTS, VARIOUS ROADS

Notice is hereby given that the Portsmouth City Council proposes to make the following Order: The Portsmouth City Council (Various Roads) (Disabled Persons Parking Places) (P032-25) Order 2025. The effect of the Order would be:
A) TO INTRODUCE DISABLED PERSONS’ PARKING BAYS (MINIMUM 5-METRE LENGTH) IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS:
Only vehicles displaying a Blue Badge or relevant permit issued by the Council may park at the following locations.

C) TO EXTEND "NO WAITING AT ANY TIME" RESTRICTIONS ON STATION ROAD JUNCTION WITH NEW ROAD EAST:
i) The north side from its eastern kerb line, for a distance of 3.5 metres in a westerly direction
ii) The west side from its northern kerb line, for a distance of 4.7 metres in a northerly direction

Alternatively, they can be viewed at the Civic Offices, Guildhall Square, PO1 2AL, Monday to Friday between 9am - 4pm. Printed copies can be obtained by calling 02392 841767.
Persons wishing to object to these proposals must do so by sending their representations to

or by post to Traffic Regulation Orders, Parking Team, Portsmouth City Council, Civic Offices, Portsmouth PO1 2NE, quoting ref P032-25 within 21 days of the date of this Notice (i.e. by 24 October 2025) stating the grounds for the objection.
