Stoddens Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Cabling Works

What is happening?

Somerset Council Parish of Burnham-on-Sea and Highbridge Temporary Closure of Stoddens Road

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Stoddens Road - from the junction with Stoneleigh Close to the junction with Southern Lea Road. A total distance of 278 metres. This Order will enable Openreach to carry out cabling works.

The Order becomes effective on 14th October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months.

The works are expected to commence on 20th October 2025 and last until 22nd October 2025 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 3 days. Visit https://one.network/?tm=144675468
