Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic
Order – Adderley, Bretton 2025 Ref: 26-140
The effect of which is to stop any pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the footpath/cycle path known as Adderley, Bretton, as lies between the rear of 23 and 26 Adderley. TheCouncil is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to works being proposed to be executed on the above footpath/cycle path. There is no alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this Order. The Order will come into operation on the
06/10/2025 and will continue until the gas repair works have been completed or until the 05/04/2026, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed between the 06/10/2025 and 10/10/2025. For further information please contact TMO Highways on 01379 676462. FP2

Order 2025 – Castle Drive, Northborough Ref: 26-141
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Castle Drive, Northborough, as lies between Granville Avenue and St Andrews Road. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Granville Avenue, St Andrews Road and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 06/10/2025 and will
continue until the gas main connection works have been completed or until the 05/10/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. Order 2025 – Riverside Mead, Stanground Ref: 26-142
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Riverside Mead, Stanground, as lies between 19 and 21. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. There is no alternative route for vehicles affected by this order, access will be maintained. The proposed order will come into
force on the 08/10/2025 and will continue until the telecoms works have been completed or until the 07/10/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 08/10/2025 and the 09/10/2025.

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Carleton Crest, Walton, as lies between numbers 16 and 20. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: none available. The proposed order will come into force
on the 16/10/2025 and will continue until the repair of fire hydrant chamber cover and frame works have been completed or until the 15/10/2026, whichever is the earlier. The City of Peterborough King Street, Lolham, Maxey, Peterborough.
Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2025 Ref: 26-153
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as King Street, Lolham, Maxey as lies between points 20 metres either side of the Lolham Level Crossing. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: B1443 King Street,
West Street, Glinton Road, Helpston Road, A15, Maxey Road, High Street. The proposed Order will come into force on the 11/10/2025 and will continue until the railway level crossing inspection works have been completed or until the 10/10/2026 whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place overnight between 23:10hrs and 08:45hrs from the 11/10/2025 to the 12/10/2025. For

The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Tuckers Nook, High Street, Castle End Road, West End Road and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 13/10/2025 and will continue until the water works have been completed or until the 12/10/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 13/10/2025 and the 15/10/2025. The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Wittering Ford Road, Barnack, as lies between Mill Farm and Mill House Cottages. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is:- From the A1 southbound: The Green Drift, Heath Road. Towards the A1 Southbound: Heath Road, The Green Drift, A1. The proposed order will come into force on the 14/10/2025 and will continue until the carriageway repair works have been completed or until the 13/10/2026, whichever is the earlier. Temporary Speed Restriction
High Street, Maxey Speed restriction 30mph 16/10/2025 to 24/10/2025
The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above roads. The alternative routes for vehicles affected by this order are detailed in the schedule. There will also be a Temporary Speed Restriction as noted in the schedule as part of the works. The proposed order will come into force on the 16/10/2025 and will continue until the water main works have been completed or until the 15/10/2026, whichever is the earlier.

Parking will be prohibited on the following streets from 06:00hrs on 12th October 2025 until the road has been re-opened to traffic on the 12th October 2025.
Park Road between Park Crescent and Dogsthorpe Road
Dogsthorpe Road between Garton End Road and Lawn Avenue
Lawn Avenue between Dogsthorpe Road St Paul’s Road
St Paul’s Road between Lawn Avenue and Fulbridge Road
Fulbridge Road between St Pauls Road and Robert Avenue
Suspension of Bus Lane
Goodwin Walk – From The Pastures to Welbourne (adjacent to Welbourne School)
Suspension of No Entry
Church Street – At the junction with Cowgate
Westgate – At the junction with Park Road
The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to the event taking place on the
above roads. There are no alternative routes for vehicles affected by this order. The proposed
order will come into force on the 11/10/2025 and will continue until the Great Eastern Run
(Half Marathon and Fun Run) have been completed on the 12/10/2025. Closures will be
