Brent Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Water Works

What is happening?

Somerset Council Parish of Brent Knoll Temporary Closure of Brent Corner

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Brent Corner - from the junction with Brent Street, northwards for a total distance of 26 metres. This Order will enable Bristol Water to cut off a supply.

The Order becomes effective on 14th October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 20th October 2025 and last until 22nd October 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 3 days.
