What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14
(WOOD LANE, MIRFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 2) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by
reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Wood Lane, Mirfield from its junction with Helm Lane to a point approximately outisde property no 12 Wood Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Wood Lane, North Gate, Hopton Lane, Hopton New Road, Station Road, Huddersfield Road, Wood Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 6 October 2025
22:00 and remain in force until 7 October 2025 06:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(GARFITT HILL, BIRSTALL, BATLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by
reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Garfitt Hill, Birstall from a point approximately outside property no.2 Garfitt Hill to a point outside property
no.23 Garfitt Hill PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to
vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near
the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Church Lane, Muffit Lane, Garfitt Hill and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 6 October 2025
and remain in force until 7 October 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(NELSON STREET, LIVERSEDGE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by
reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Nelson Street, Liversedge from its junction with Union Road to the end of Nelson Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles
requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. No diversion required
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 6 October 2025
and will remain in force until 8 October 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)
(WARWICK ROAD, BATLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by
reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Warwick Road, Batley from its junction with Rink Street to its junction with Grafton Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles
requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Rink Street, Bradford Road, Grafton Street and vice versa It is intended that the closure will operate on Monday 6 October 2025 for approximately one day only between 18:00 and 00:00 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to months if necessary).
(PROSPECT ROAD, HARTSHEAD, LIVERSEDGE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by
reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Prospect Road, Hartshead, Liversedge from its junction with Fall Lane to its junction with Church Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will available via Fall Lane, Peep Green Road, School Lane, Windy Bank Lane, Prospect Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday 8 October 2025
and will remain in force until 11 October 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)
(BENNETT LANE, DEWSBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by
reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that legnth of Bennett Lane, Dewsbury from its junction with Leeds Road to its junction with Kirkgate PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles
requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Langdale Road, Croftlands, Leeds Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday 8 October 2025
and remain in force until 11 October 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
