(B7009 ETTRICKBRIDGE) (TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2025

The Scottish Borders Council (B7009 Ettrickbridge)
(Temporary Closing) Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on  6 October 2025 and is expected to remain in effect until 17 October 2025. The Order is required for civils and resurfacing works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the B7009 at Ettrickbridge on the following dates and at the times specified:

(i)  Closure 1: at Grid Reference 338980, 624280 – 339335, 624519 from 09:00 on Monday 6 October  2025 to 15:00 on Friday 10 October 2025;

(ii)  Closure 2: at Grid Reference 338980, 624280 – 339335, 624519 from 09:00 on Monday 13 October 2025 to 17:00 on Wednesday15 October 2025; and

(iii)  Closure 3: at Grid Reference 338095, 623870 – 338588, 624236 from 09:00 on Thursday16 October 2025 to 17:00 on Friday17 October 2025.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the B7009, B709, A708, B7039 and B7009 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
