The County of Cornwall (Edgecumbe Road, Edgcumbe Road, Queen Street, Liddicoat Road, Lostwithiel) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 6th October 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Lostwithiel. This prohibition is necessary for principal road maintenance and gully emptying works and it is expected that the closure will be from 22nd October 2025 to 25th October 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekends included. Roads affected - Edgecumbe Road, Edgcumbe Road, Queen Street, Liddicoat Road, Lostwithiel between No Man’s Land and Cott Road, Lostwithiel. An alternative route will be signed on site. Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 24th April 2025 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Footpath 2 in the Parish of Maker-with-Rame for its entire length. The Order which commenced on the 25th April 2025 and is currently in force for up to six months will now continue until the 4th April 2026. The continuance of this Order, which was to have expired on the 4th October 2025 has been approved by the Secretary of State for Transport. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to unsafe steps and adjacent wall. Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 6th October 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Lanreath. This prohibition is necessary for overhead structure works and it is expected that the closure will be from 20th October 2025 to 21st October 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1600, weekdays only. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Millbrook. This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement, pole testing and tree cutting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 3rd November 2025 to 4th November 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. Road affected - Maker Lane, Millbrook between the junmction with Knill Cross and property known as Briley. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 6th October 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Neot. This prohibition is necessary for pole renewal works and it is expected that the closure will be from 22nd October 2025 to 27th October 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 8th November 2025 to 9th November 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekends included. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Saltash. This prohibition is necessary for installation works of a new telegraph pole and it is expected that the closure will be from 5th November 2025 to 6th November 2025. This prohibition is necessary for new telegraph pole works and it is expected that the closure will be from 24th October 2025, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. Road affected - Meadway, St Stephens between property numbers 1 and ll. The Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) The County of Cornwall (Various Roads No Mans Land) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic and Stopping) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above order dated 6th October 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in No Mans Land. This prohibition is necessary for resurfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 20th October 2025 to 24th October 2025. Road subject to prohibition - Holland Road, No Mans Land for its entire length. Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a stopping prohibition the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to stop as specified on the undermentioned length of road in No Mans Land. Where any vehicle is found to be in contravention of the Order it may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and may be removed from site. Road subject to stopping prohibition - Holland Road, No Mans Land for its entire length. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1700, weekdays only.
