(Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.35) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Chelmsford City Council acting on behalf of the South Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the powers conferred by the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 30 June 2022 has made the above Order under Sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling legislation.
The Order: To revoke and implement parking restrictions on the following lengths of road in the Borough of Basildon as specified below.
To revoke ‘No Stopping Mon-Fri 8.30-9.30am & 2.30-3.30pm On Entrance Markings’ and introduce ‘No Stopping Mon-Fri 8.9.30am & 2.30-4pm On Entrance Markings’ on the following length of road in the Borough of Basildon:

To revoke ‘Limited Waiting Mon-Sat 8am-6pm 1 hour No return within 3 hours’ and introduce ‘Loading Only Mon-Sat 9am-6pm’ on the following length of road in the Borough of Basildon:

This order will also formally amend restrictions on the following lengths of road. This is a paper exercise to ensure the map records are up to date and/or match the restrictions historically implemented:

Date of operation: This Order will come into operation on 3rd November 2025.
Application to the High Court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of that Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
