What is happening?
North Yorkshire Council, 20 Mph Speed Limit, Plumpton Lane &
Studley Lane, Studley Roger, Order 2025 Notice is hereby given that
on 26/09/25 The North Yorkshire Council made an Order under Sections
84(1) & (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule
9 to the 1984 Act, the effect of which is to prohibit any motor vehicle from
travelling at a speed in excess of 20 mph on any length of road specified
below. Plumpton Lane (U2749/2/60) and Studley Lane U2749/2/20
Studley Roger, both sides of the road, 183m to the South from the centre
line of B6265 Studley Road to a point 115 metres north of the entrance to
Plumpton Hall. A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on
06/10/25, may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton & at Ripon
Library, The Arcade Ripon, HG4 1AG during normal office hours from
02/10/25 until 07/11/25 & also viewed online at
www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or
www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders. If you wish to question
the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds
that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that
Act, or of any Instrument made under it, has not been complied with in
relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks of 26/09/25 make
application to the High Court for the purpose.
Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians, Public Footpath 15.29/69/1,
Dacre, Order 2025 No 373 We have made this Order to prohibit any
pedestrian from using the Public Footpath, 15.29/69/1 in the Parish of
Dacre between grid references SE19606262 & SE19946244 for a
temporary period of 6 months (subject to access to premises) between
10/10/25 & 18/03/26, due to the river eroding the
path. This Order follows Emergency Notice No. 154. The closure period
will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed

40 Mph Speed Limit, Haggs Road, Follifoot, Order 2025 Notice is
hereby given that on 30/09/25 The North Yorkshire Council made an
Order under Sections 84(1) & (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
& Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, the effect of which is to prohibit
any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 40 mph on any
length of road specified below. The Schedule - Part 1 Haggs Road, from
its junction with the A658 in a south-easterly direction for 350m. A copy of
the Order, which comes into operation on 06/10/25, may be examined at
County Hall, Northallerton & at Victoria Avenue, Harrogate, HG1 1EG
during normal office hours from 02/10/25 until 11/11/25 & also viewed
online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or
www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders. If you wish to question
the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds
that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that
Act, or of any Instrument made under it, has not been complied with in
relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks of 30/09/25 make
