What is happening?

THE NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

(WALSINGHAM, B1105 WELLS ROAD)

(40 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2025

The Norfolk County Council propose to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to prohibit any motor vehicle from exceeding 40 miles per hour along the length of road specified in the Schedule below.

The proposed 40 mph speed limit will be a change to the existing 60mph national speed limit currently in force.

. Copies are also available for inspection at Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Norwich, NR1 2DH and at the offices of North Norfolk District Council, Council Offices, Holt Rd, Cromer NR27 9EN, during normal office hours. Online viewing is recommended.

Any objections and representations relating to the Order must be made in writing and must specify the grounds on which they are made. All correspondence for these proposals must be received at the office of nplaw, Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Martineau Lane, Norwich, NR1 2DH, marked for the attention of the nplaw Traffic Regulation Order Team by 21st October 2025. They may also be emailed to trafficorders@norfolk.gov.uk
