What is happening?

THE NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

(COLTISHALL, B1354 WROXHAM ROAD AND U51051 KINGS ROAD)

TRAFFIC ORDERS 2025

Norfolk County Council has made the following Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the 22nd September 2025 which comes into operation on the 3rd October 2025, the effects of which are as follows:

The Norfolk County Council (Coltishall, B1354 Wroxham Road and U51051 Kings Road) (Prohibition of Waiting) Amendment Order 2025

Amending The Norfolk County Council (Coltishall, Various Roads) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2015 by:

  1. Extending the double yellow lines on B1354 Wroxham Road North Side by 311 metres westwards to a point 15 metres west of the centre line of its junction with U57069 Chapel Lane

  2. Adding double yellow lines to B1354 Wroxham Road South Side – From a point 150 metres west of the western kerb line of its junction with the U57128 White Lion Road westwards to a point 15 metres west of a point opposite the centre line of its junction with U57069 Chapel Lane

  3. Adding double yellow lines to U51051 Kings Road Both Sides – From the centre line of its junction with B1354 Wroxham Road northwards for a distance of 10 metres

The Norfolk County Council (Coltishall, B1354 Wroxham Road) (Street Parking Places) Order 2025

Introducing a street parking place on the south side of Wroxham Road as set out in the Schedule below.

Relevant standard exemptions have been inserted to the Order including for emergency services and local authority or a water authority in pursuance of statutory powers or duties.

. Copies are also available for inspection at Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Norwich, NR1 2DH and at the offices of Broadland District Council, Horizon Business Centre, Peachman Way, Norwich, NR7 0WF, during normal office hours. Online viewing is recommended.

Any person who desires to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from 22nd September 2025 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
