SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE, SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY AND SUSPENSION OF NO RIGHT TURN ON PART OF THE B1106 FORNHAM ROAD, A1101 FORNHAM ROAD, U2517 MILLENHALL ROAD, U2521 BELL MEADOW, U2517 NORFOLK ROAD, U2501 TOLLAGATE LANE AND U2513 HANOVER CLOSE, BURY ST EDMUNDS
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads in the following phases:
Phase 1:
? A1101 Fornham Road, Bury St Edmunds from the junction with Fornham Road to the junction with Avenue Approach
? A1101 Mildenhall Road, Bury St Edmunds from the junction with the A1101 Fornham Road to the Western Hotel
? U2521 Bell Meadow, Bury St Edmunds from the junction with the A1101 Fornham Road to the junction with Layman Drive
? U2517 Norfolk Road, Bury St Edmunds from the junction with the A1101 Fornham Road for 30 metres westbound
Phase 2:
? U2501 Tollgate Lane, Bury St Edmunds from the junction with Hanover Close to the junction with Mildenhall Road
Phase 2b:
? A1101 Fornham Road, Bury St Edmunds from the junction with Fornham Road to Sturastone Garage
Phase 3:
? U2517 Norfolk Road, Bury St Edmunds from the junction with the A1101 Fornham Road for 30 metres westbound
Phase 4:
? A1101 Fornham Road, Bury St Edmunds from the junction with Fornham Road to the junction with Avenue Approach
? A1101 Mildenhall Road, Bury St Edmunds from the junction with the A1101 Fornham Road to the Western Hotel

This is to facilitate reconfiguration of Tollgate Gyratory junction. Other coordinated works may also take place during the period.

From 29/09/2025 – 29/05/2026 there will also be a suspension of no right turn provision on the:
? A1101 Fornham Road, Bury St Edmunds southbound from The Tollgate Pub to the junction with Norfolk Road
and
? A1101 Fornham Road, Bury St Edmunds northbound from the junction with Norfolk Road to the junction with Tollgate Lane
From 29/09/2025 – 29/05/2026 there will also be a suspension of the one-way provision on the:
? U2501 Tollgate Lane, Bury St Edmunds onto Fornham Road
? A1101 Mildenhall Road, Bury St Edmunds onto Tollgate Lane
? U2521 Bell Meadow, Bury St Edmunds onto Fornham Road
It is intended that these measures will operate in the following phases:
? 29/09/2025 – 13/10/2025 from 8pm – 6am with the closure of the U2501 Tollgate Lane which will be closed 24 hours daily
? 29/09/2025 – 29/05/2026
? 29/09/2025 – 16/04/2026
? 13/10/2025 – 08/05/2026
? 29/09/2025 – 27/10/2025
It is intended that the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U2306 MILL ROAD, FRISTON
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U2306 Mill Road, Friston from the junction with the A1094 to the junction with the U2306 Tithe Barn Lane to facilitate drainage connection and lining. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the A1094, the B1121 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 29/09/2025 - 02/10/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U8660 SHELTON ROAD, HAVERHILL
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U8660 Shelton Road, Haverhill from Farrant Close for 30 metres eastbound to facilitate reconnecting underground cables. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Chalkstone Way and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 29/09/2025 - 13/10/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C676 LOWER STREET, STANSFIELD
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C676 Lower Street, Stansfield from 42 metres southwest of Pippin Post Close for 20 metres south westbound to facilitate pole testing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Plough Hill, Lower Green, Assington Green and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 29/09/2025 from 9.30am – 3.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1071 SUDBURY ROAD AND LAVENHAM ROAD, LAVENHAM AND GREAT WALDINGFIELD
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads:
? B1071 Sudbury Road, Lavenham from Melford Road, Lavenham to Lavenham Road, Great Waldingfield
? B1071 Lavenham Road, Great Waldingfield
This is to facilitate carriageway patching. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1071, the A1141, the A134, the B1115 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 29/09/2025 - 13/10/2025 from 7pm - 6am with a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C207 UTTERS HILL ROAD AND THE C206 MILLS ROAD, WESTLETON
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads in the following phases:

? C206 Mills Road, Wenhaston from the junction with the B1125 for 48 metres southeastbound
Phase 2:
? C207 Utters Hill Road, Westleton from the junction with the C206 Mills Road for 48 metres southeastbound
This is to facilitate cabling installation. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1125 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closures will operate from 29/09/2025 - 13/10/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C515 SILVERLEYS GREEN AND THE C217 SPONG LANE, CRATFIELD
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads:
? C515 Silverleys Green, Cratfield from the junction with Spong Lane to Cratfield Road
? C217 Spong Lane, Cratfield from the junction with Silverleys Green for 105 metres
This is to facilitate overhead cable replacement. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Bell Green, Mary Lane, Linstead Road, Barrells Hill, Cratfield Road, Huntingfield Road, Swan Green Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 29/09/2025 - 13/10/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND PARKING RESTRICTION ON PART OF THE B1067 BARHAM ROAD AND THE U4641 EUROPA WAY, IPSWICH
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1067 Barham Road, Ipswich from Europa Way to Shrubland Road to facilitate carriageway resurfacing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1067, the A1214, the A1156, the A14, Sproughton Road, Europa Way and vice versa.
For the duration of this closure there will also be a temporary parking restriction on the U4641 Europa Way, Ipswich.
It is intended that these measures will operate from 29/09/2025 – 04/10/2025 from 7pm – 5am but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C360 FALKENHAM ROAD, FALKENHAM
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C360 Falkenham Road, Falkenham from 730 metres east of the junction with Back Lane for 30 metres eastbound to facilitate new electricity supply. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Back Lane, Lower Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 29/09/2025 - 13/10/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1115 ROAD FROM B1115 TO A1141, MONKS ELEIGH
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1115 Road from B1115 to A1141, Monks Eleigh from 740 metres east of the junction with the A1141 to Monks Eleigh Moor for 48 metres southeastbound to facilitate masonry repairs. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1115, the A134, the A1071, and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 29/09/2025 - 13/10/2025 from 9.30am – 3.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
