What is happening?

THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF 
WINDSOR & MAIDENHEAD
MONKEY ISLAND LANE (PART), BRAY
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) 
ORDER 2025
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice,to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:
Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding alongMonkey Island Lane, Bray from the junction withOld Mill Lane in the eastern direction to western boundary of property known as ”Weir Bank Lodge”. 

There is no alternative diversion route available.

The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate works on the highway, namely bridge level repairs and as a result there is the likelihood of danger to the public.

The proposed Order will be in operation each night between 20.00 hours and 06.00 hours from Monday 20 October until Saturday 25 October 2025. There will be a temporary prohibition of driving when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
