The County of Cornwall (Tregunnus Lane, Downderry) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 6th October 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Downderry. This prohibition is necessary for essential tree works and it is expected that the closure will be from 20th October 2025 to 21st October 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1700, weekdays only. Road affected - Tregunnus Lane, Downderry between properties known as Tregunnus Mill Cottage and Tregunnus House. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Torpoint. This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 5th November 2025, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. Road affected - Road To Rear Of 1 - 65 Sydney Road, Torpoint between the junctions with Adela Road and Well Park Road. An alternative route will be signed on site. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 6th October 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Hessenford. This prohibition is necessary for National Grid reinforcement scheme works and it is expected that the closure will be from 21st October 2025 to 7th November 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. Road affected - Road From Tinkers Lake To Valley Cottage, Hessenford between grid reference SX 30705 57480 and the junction with Church Hill. An alternative route will be signed on site. Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Speed Restriction Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 6th October 2025 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to impose a temporary speed restriction of 40 MPH over an area of highway being A390 Between South West Of Trebeigh And Southern Road Roundabout, St lve between grid references SX 34376 68035 and SX 34834 67971 for approximately 456 metres. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because overhead cabling works are being executed on or near the road. The Order will come into operation on 22nd October 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 22nd October 2025. The restriction will be in force from 0930 hours on the 22nd October 2025 and continue until 1530 hours on the 22nd October 2025, weekdays only. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Liskeard. This prohibition is necessary for cattlegrid repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 3rd November 2025 to 12th December 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. Road affected - Road From Fore Street To Tremabe Lane, Liskeard between the junctions with Fore Street and Bakers Hill.
