Thorpe Hall Close, Southend-on-Sea – Proposed Raised Entry Table Installation
What is happening?
SOUTHEND-ON-SEA CITY COUNCIL
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
Southend-on-Sea City Council gives notice that it proposes to install a raised entry table under Section 90A and 90C of the Highways Act 1980 (as amended) at the following location:
Thorpe Hall Close – at its junction with Thorpe Hall Avenue.
A flat-topped hump will be installed with: a height of 100mm, an approximate length of 3.7 metres and this will be the full width of carriageway.
A copy of the Notice and designs/plans showing the affected roads may be inspected:
• on the Council’s website using the following link:
https://www.southend.gov.uk/tro under the heading ‘Public Notices/Consultations’.
• at the Civic Centre Reception (address below) during normal office hours.
Any comments to the proposals, together with the grounds on which they are made, must no later than 17th October 2025, including reference PT01130 – Thorpe Hall Close be sent:
• to TraffWeb@southend.gov.uk (via email), or;
• in writing to the Traffic Management Team and/or the Project Delivery Team (Infrastructure and Environment) at the address below.
All written representations received concerning Traffic Orders are public documents that may be inspected by any person on demand.
