Hill Drive, Temporary Road Closure Due To Resurfacing Works

(HILL DRIVE, EAGLESHAM) TEMPORARY RESTRICTION TO USE OF ROAD ORDER 2025
On the 29th August 2025 the Council made the above-named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order has been promoted to restrict vehicular access on Hill Drive, Eaglesham from its junction with Strathaven Road for its entire length to the northwest junction with Brownmuir Avenue, in order to facilitate the essential carriageway resurfacing between 27th October and 14th November 2025.
The Order authorises the closure of the road for the duration of the works.
Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the closure may be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time. Access for emergency vehicles attending an incident will be maintained at all times.
No alternative route exists.
