What is happening?

THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF 
WINDSOR & MAIDENHEAD
B3028 UPPER BRAY ROAD (PART), BRAY 
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) 
ORDER 2025
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:-
Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the B3028 Upper Bray Road from a point 190 metres north from its junction with Cannon Hill Close northward for a distance of 50 metres.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is via B3028 Upper Bray Road, A308 Windsor Road, A308 Braywick Road, A308 King Street, A308 Grenfell Road, A308 Grenfell Place, A308 Frascati Way, A4 Castle Hill Roundabout, A4 Bad Godesberg Way, A4 St Clouds Way, A4 Bridge Road, B3028 Oldfield Road, B3028 Bray Road, B3028 High Street and B3028 
Upper Bray Road. 

The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate works on the highway, namely head frame swap on the mast and as a result there is the likelihood of danger to the public.

The proposed Order will be in operation between 09.30 hours and 14.30 hours on Tuesday 21st October 2025

There will be a prohibition of driving when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
