DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT OF PUBLIC RIGHTS OF WAY FOR THE FORMER CARADON DISTRICT COUNCIL AREA
THE CORNWALL COUNCIL (ADDITION OF A RESTRICTED BYWAY AT VOGUS LANE IN THE PARISH OF ST DOMINICK) MODIFICATION ORDER 2025
The above order made on 11th September 2025, if confirmed as made, will modify the definitive map and statement for the area by:
Adding a length of Restricted Byway in the Parish of St Dominick commencing at Unclassified County Road U6167 approximately 31 metres south-east of ‘Jilfrege’, at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) SX 4057/6772 then running in a generally north-easterly direction for a distance of 809 metres to its junction with County Road C129 approximately 40 metres north-north-west of ‘Morden Farmhouse’ at OSGR SX 4112/6825.
A copy of the order and order map can be downloaded from Cornwall Council’s website at the following address: https://www.cornwall.gov. uk/environment/countryside/definitive-map-modification-orders/madedefinitive- map-orders/ and may also be viewed at Callington Library and Information Service, Coronation Road, Callington, PL17 7DR from 1.00 pm to 5.00 pm on Tuesday & Thursday, Wednesday, 9.00 to 1.00pm on Friday and from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm on Saturday. A copy may also be viewed at the Offices of Cornwall Council at New County Hall, Treyew Road, Truro, TR1 3AY from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm on Mondays to Fridays (Bank Holidays excepted). Copies of the order and map may also be requested by email from PROWOrders@cornwall.gov.uk or by telephoning 0300 1234 202.
Any representation about or objection to the Order must be sent in writing to the Public Rights of Way Team Leader, Cornwall Council, New County Hall, Treyew Road, Truro, TR1 3AY not later than 21 November 2025, stating the grounds on which they are made.
If no representations or objections are duly made to the order, [or to any part of it], or if any so made are withdrawn, the Cornwall Council, instead of submitting the order to the Secretary of State [(or part of it if the authority has by notice to the Secretary of State so elected under paragraph 5 of Schedule 15 to the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981)] may itself confirm the order [(or that part of the order)]. If the order is submitted to the Secretary of State (in whole or in part) any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with it.
