Law Lane, Southowram, Halifax - Installation of a Zebra Crossing
What is happening?
THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF CALDERDALE
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 23
INSTALLATION OF A ZEBRA CROSSING LAW LANE, SOUTHOWRAM
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Borough Council of Calderdale in exercise of its powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and having consulted with the Chief of Police, proposes to install a zebra crossing on Law Lane, Southowram immediately to the south of its junction with Withinfields. The limits of the crossing will be approximately 2.7 metres wide.
The crossing will incorporate a controlled area indicated by zig-zag markings along the carriageway where parking and loading will be prohibited.
The extents of the controlled area are:-
From a point approximately 20 metres south of its intersection with the southern kerbline of Withinfields in northerly direction of a distance of approximately 39 metres.
