Warwickshire: Winderton, Warmington, Cherington - Temporary Traffic Orders

What is happening?

Warwickshire County Council

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

D66510 WINDERTON ROAD, WINDERTON

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from Compton Wynyates Road to Chelmscote Road.

Reason for Order: Drainage and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs.

Order Commences: 6 October 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 7 October 2025.

Access & Diversion: Compton Wynyates (Winderton Road), Chelmscote Road and vice versa.

Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

D64210 CHURCH HILL, WARMINGTON

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between The Green and Banbury Road.

Reason for Order: Drainage and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.00hrs.

Order Commences: 20 October 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 20 October 2025.

Access & Diversion: Church Hill, Village Road, Banbury Road and vice versa.

Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.

CHERINGTON ROAD, CHERINGTON

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Works to install new water connection.

Order Commences: 20 October 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 22 October 2025.

Access & Diversion: Cherington Road, Willington Road and vice versa.

Contractor: Go Traffic Management Limited, Tel: 01158 965 832.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
