What is happening?

THE NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

(PORINGLAND, B1132 BUNGAY ROAD)

(30 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2025

The Norfolk County Council propose to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to prohibit any motor vehicle from exceeding 30 miles per hour along the length of road specified below:

 B1132 Bungay Road  – From a point 150 metres east of its junction with the C187 Shotesham Road, eastwards and southwards for a distance of 300 metres.

The proposed 30mph speed restriction along this length of road will be a change to the current 60mph national speed limit.

Any objections and representations relating to the Order must be made in writing and must specify the grounds on which they are made. All correspondence for these proposals must be received at the office of:

marked for the attention of the nplaw Traffic Regulation Order Team

by 21st October 2025.
