What is happening?

Mae Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Wrecsam yn bwriadu gwneud GORCHYMYN (GWAHARDD TRAFFIG TRWODD) DROS DRO dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 a fydd mewn grym o 09/10/2025 i wahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio’r darn hwnnw o Ffordd Tanat, rhwng y gyffordd â Rhodfa Havard i’r gyffordd â Ffordd Efyrnwy, sef pellter o 238m. Bydd y ffordd ar gau i un cyfeiriad yn unig, gydag’r traffig yn llifo i gyfeiriad y de dwyrain. Mae hyn er mwyn galluogi O’Connor Utilities, ar ran Scottish Power, i wneud gwaith trydanol ar y troedffordd ar lôn gerbydau. Mae’r llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau a effeithir gan gau’r ffordd i un cyfeiriad yn mynd ar hyd Ffordd Efyrnwy a Rhodfa Havard a bydd arwyddion priodol yn cael eu gosod. Bydd mynediad i gerddwyr yn cael ei gynnal drwy gydol y cyfnod y bydd y ffordd ar gau. Disgwylir i’r gwaharddiad bara am 7 wythnos ac 1 diwrnod, neu nes y caiff y gwaith ei gwblhau os bydd hynny’n gynt, a gallai bara am hyd at 18 mis.

Darren Williams - Prif Swyddog, Amgylchedd a Thechnegol

Rydym yn croesawu gohebiaeth yn Gymraeg. Byddwn yn ymateb i unrhyw ohebiaeth yn Gymraeg ac ni fydd hyn yn arwain at unrhyw oedi.

Wrexham County Borough Council intends to make a TEMPORARY (PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 effective from 09/10/2025 prohibiting any vehicle from using that length of Tanat Way between its junction with Havard Way to its junction with Vyrnwy Way for a distance of 238m. The closure will be in one direction only, with traffic flow in a southerly/easterly direction. This is to enable O’Connor Utilities, on behalf of Scottish Power, to undertake electrical works in the footway and carriageway. The alternative route for vehicles affected by the one way closure is via Vyrnwy Way and Havard Way which will be signposted accordingly. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure. The prohibition is expected to last for 7 weeks and 1 day, or until completion of the works if earlier, with a maximum duration of 18 months.
