Duffield Road - Temporary Road Closure For Carriageway Patching And Resurfacing
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE DUFFIELD ROAD, LITTLE EATON
WHEN: 17 October to 23 October 2025 (19:00 to 06:00 each night)
WHERE: Duffield Road, Little Eaton between Station Road and Rigga Lane.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway patching and resurfacing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Duffield Road, Alfreton Road, Coxbench Road, Portway, Town Street, Pond Road, Makeney Road, Red Lane, Duffield Bank, Eaton Bank, and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
