North Avenue - Temporary Road Closure For Replacement Of Bt Pole
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE NORTH AVENUE, ASHBOURNE
WHEN: 23 October 2025 (between 08:00 and 16:00)
WHERE: North Avenue, Ashbourne between Lingmell and entrance to Bowling Green Car Park.
REASON: To facilitate replacement of BT pole.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A515 Buxton Hill, Union Street , Dover House Green, North Avenue and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
