Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council in not less than seven days from the appearance of this Notice, under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the following Orders:

The Isle of Wight Council (Lynch Lane, Calbourne, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 11 2025

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one shift between Monday 06 October 2025, and Tuesday 07 October, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Lynch Lane, Calbourne, for its entire length, on-street signage will depict the exact length of the closure. The Isle of Wight Council (Sandown Road, Bembridge, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 3 2025

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 1900 hours on Wednesday 8 October 2025 until 0600 hours on Thursday 9 October 2025, or when the works has been completed, Lake Hill will be closed between its junctions with The Fairway and Brownlow Road. The Isle of Wight Council (Godshill Road, Whitwell, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 4 2025

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0900 hours on Monday 6 October 2025 until 1800 hours on Thursday 9 October 2025, or when the works has been completed, Godshill Road will be closed between its junctions with Southford Lane and Millers Lane. The Isle of Wight Council (Rew Street, Gurnard, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 4 2025

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0900 hours on Monday 6 October 2025 until 1800 hours on Friday 23 January 2026, or when the works has been completed, Rew Street will be closed for its entire length. The Isle of Wight Council (Various Streets, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Revocation of One-Way Restriction) Order No 1 2025

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for approximately ten days, between Friday 3rd October 2025 until Friday 17 October 2025, or when the works has been completed, the one-way restrictions will be revoked along the following lengths of road a) Mount Street, Ryde, for its entire length and b) Arthur Street, Ryde, for its entire length. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The revocations are required whilst works for carriageway maintenance are being carried out in the area.

The Isle of Wight Council (Various Streets, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary No Waiting at Any Time Parking Restriction) Order No 1 2025

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that for approximately ten days, between Friday 3rd October 2025 until Friday 17 October 2025, or when the works has been completed, a ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ parking restriction will be introduced along the following lengths of road a) Mount Street, Ryde, on both sides, for its entire length and b) Arthur Street, Ryde, on both sides, for its entire length. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The restrictions are required whilst works for carriageway maintenance are being carried out in the area.

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 3 October 2025 and Friday 26 December 2025 the following roads will be closed at all times for a period of approximately one to 15 days within the period, or when the works have been completed, to enable carriageway maintenance, lining and investigation works, and any associated pre works, to be undertaken. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads: and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road were indicated by traffic signs. These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction, resurfacing works, reflective stud work and lining works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and on street advanced warning signs before the scheme commences.
