(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
BEACONSFIELD STREET AND GREENBANK
ROAD BACK STREET, DARLINGTON
Darlington Borough Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to close:
BEACONSFIELD STREET AND GREENBANK ROAD BACK STREET From the northern boundary of 9 Beaconsfield Street northwards to the northern boundary of 25 Beaconsfield Street.
An alternative route will be signed via Beaconsfield Street, Widowfield Street, Greenbank Road and Warren Street.
The Order is necessary to allow works by Northumbrian Water to repair a sewer.
The maximum duration of the temporary closure under this Order is 18 months commencing from 10th November 2025, it is anticipated that the closure will be effective for 12 days.
