What is happening?
North Yorkshire Council, Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Station Road, Crakehall, Order 2025, No. 332
We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Station Road, Crakehall for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 29/09/25 & 10/10/25, due to sewer connection works being undertaken by BC Excavations. However, the max duration of this Order is until 29/12/25. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians, Public Footpath 20.62/5/3 St Martins, Order 2021 No 330
Notice is hereby given that the above Order, the effect of which is to prohibit any public access along Public Footpath 20.62/5/3, St Martins near Richmond between grid reference NZ16520308 & NZ16960054 to ensure public safety during emergency repair works has been continued in force for a further 6 months until 03/04/26 or until the completion of the works (whichever is the earlier), under Section 15(3) of the above Act with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport. The further continuation of the Closure will be put into effect by notices & signs.

Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic, Langthwaite To Tan Hill, Langthwaite, Order 2025 No 360
We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Langthwaite To Tan Hill, Langthwaite due to Culvert repair works between Whaw junction & The Stang junction. It is envisaged that the restriction will be in force from 13/10/25 until 24/10/25 inclusive, however the maximum duration of this Order will be for 13/10/25 until 01/04/27. The closure period will only apply as indicated by the placing of traffic signs & a local alternative route will also be signed on site where appropriate.
