What is happening?
PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(REGIS ROAD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by
the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991,
prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Regis Road at its
junctions with Upper Green and Edward Lisle Gardens.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken on 11 October 2025, between the hours of
08:00 and 16:00.
The diversion route is: Redhouse Road, Wrottesley Road,
Wergs Road, Upper Green and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate access to the
underground structure for cabling works by BT.
