What is happening?

A29 Cookstown Bypass-
Social Value Engagement

Launch

The Department for Infrastructure’s (DfI) social value
engagement event for the A29 Cookstown Bypass will be
starting at 12pm on Monday 29 September 2025 and will
close at 12pm on Monday 27 October 2025. We would like
to invite you to contribute to the engagement process by
completing the online survey on our webpage:

We will also be hosting a Public Information Event where you
will be able to view the materials, meet the Project team to
discuss the social value opportunities, and ask any questions.
The event will be held on Tuesday 07 October 2025,
between 2pm and 8pm at the Burnavon Arts and Cultural
Centre, Burn Rd, Cookstown, BT80 8DN. We are committed
to engaging with all interested parties and this is your
opportunity to contribute to the development of the social
value opportunities that could be delivered during the
construction of the A29 Cookstown Bypass scheme.
