The County of Cornwall (North Street, St Austell) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 29th September 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Austell.
This prohibition is necessary for works to clear vegetation from bridge it is expected that the closure will be on the following dates: 18th October 2025, 25th October 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 2300 and 0600, weekends included.

Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Traffic Restriction Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 29th September 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Tower Road, Newquay from junction for Fore Street to junction for Sydney Road.
Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily suspend the existing one-way order The County of Cornwall (Newquay) (Restrictions on Driving) (Consolidation) Order 1991 Fore Street (Class Ill) from junction for Tower Road to junction for Alma Place.
The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because works for essential cleansing of SWW sewer pipes are being executed on or near the road. The Order will come into operation on 14th October 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 14th October 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0900 and 1700 on a daily basis, weekdays only.
Nothing in Paragraph 1 of this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian and Vehicular access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 29th September 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Blazey.
This prohibition is necessary for general manhole repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 13th October 2025 to 15th October 2025.
The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0700, weekdays only. Road affected - Fore Street, St Blazey from near No 29 to outside No 30.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Newquay.
This prohibition is necessary for water connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 27th October 2025 to 31st October 2025.
The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 29th September 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Wadebridge. This prohibition is necessary for desilting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 14th October 2025 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

This prohibition is necessary for drainage and carriageway repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 13th October 2025 to 15th October 2025.
The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1800, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 29th September 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Stephen. This prohibition is necessary for remedial works and it is expected that the closure will be from 13th October 2025 to 15th October 2025.
The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1800, weekdays only. Road affected - Fore Street, St Stephen from junction with Terras Road to outside No 41. The Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) The County of Cornwall (Rectory Road, St Stephen. Road From Rectory Road To Crow Hill, Coombe, St Austell) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic and Stopping) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in St Austell. This prohibition is necessary for works to application of thin surface course and it is expected that the closure will be from 27th October 2025 to 31st October 2025.
Roads subject to prohibition - Rectory Road, St Stephen from Brannel School to Park Gwyn, Road From Rectory Road To Crow Hill, Coombe for its entire length. Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a stopping prohibition the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to stop as specified on the undermentioned lengths of road in St Austell. Where any vehicle is found to be in contravention of the Order it may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and may be removed from site. Roads subject to stopping prohibition - Rectory Road, St Stephen from Brannel School to Park Gwyn, Road From Rectory Road To Crow Hill, Coombe for its entire length.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 13th October 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in St Columb. This prohibition is necessary for gas mains replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 27th October 2025 to 30th January 2026.
The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
