What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF EALING 

Schools Streets - HEREFORD ROAD, TEMPLE ROAD, WEYMOUTH ROAD. The Ealing (Prescribed Routes) (Pedestrian & Cycle Zone) (Little Ealing Primary School School) (No. 1) Order 2025.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Ealing, made the above-titled Order, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The general effect of the made school street Order will be to provide a pedestrian and cycle zone, where motor vehicles are prohibited from entering onto Hereford Road, Temple Road (Netherbury Road to Weymouth Road), Weymouth Road (Little Ealing Lane to Airdale Road), on Mondays to Fridays 8.15-9.00am and 2.30-3.45pm during term time only. Access permit address eligibility for the school area as detailed in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions will be provided for emergency services vehicles and permit holders. [Note: Foot cycles, scooters, e-scooters are not subject to the Order. Residents and other professionals who live or work in the sections of road referred to above will be able to apply for an access permit.] "Term time" means that portion of a year other than school vacations, which will be listed the London Borough of Ealing's website.

3. The made Order, which will come into operation on 1 October 2025, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order including plans, are available by e-mail from 'trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk' or for inspection at Customer Services Reception, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL between 9:00am and 4:45pm on Monday to Friday, until six weeks of the date on which the Order was made.

4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained therein on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make an application for the purpose to the High Court.

5. Weymouth Road, W5 - Nos. 19, 21, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50, 52, 54, 56, 58, 60, 62, 64, 66, 68, 70, 72, 74, 76, 78, 80, 82, 84 & 86.
