Upper Sapey, Temporary Road Closure Due To Highway Works

Notice of Intention

NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order B4203 High View Property Access, Upper Sapey, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the B4203 High View Property Access, Upper Sapey, outside property Bayt-Ona. Grid Ret 368536/263229.

The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the B4203 onto the A44, onto the B4197, onto the B4204, onto the B4203 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to highway remedial works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 23rd of October 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 4 weeks.
