What is happening?

Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order U80005, East Street, Hereford, Herefordshire, Traffic Movement (Temporary Suspension) Order 2025 to temporarily suspend the following traffic movement restriction(s) referenced in the Herefordshire Council (Various Traffic Movements) (Consolidation) Order 2022.

a) East Street, Hereford (One Way Restriction) from

the junction with Broad Street to the access to Albion Court car park.

The said suspension is required due to nearby Streetworks taking place that requires the above suspensions to facilitate movement of traffic whist the said works are in progress. The said Order shall come into force on the 12th of October 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
