PROPOSED WAITING RESTRICTIONS

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth propose to make the following Order under section 6 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

• The Wandsworth (Waiting and Loading Restriction)

(Special Parking Areas) (Amendment No.*) Order 202*;

2. The general effect of the Order will be to introduce a length of double yellow lines (“no waiting at any times”) in Alton Road on its western side, outside Nos 28-58.

3. Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposed Order are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU. The documents will remain available until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order.

4. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection to the Director of Environment and Community Services at the address below within 21 days of the date of this Notice.

PUTNEY EMBANKMENT

•  The Wandsworth (Putney) (Parking Places) (No.*) Order 202*.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make the above orders under sections 6, 45, 46 and 49 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

2. The general effects of the Orders will be to introduce changes in the following locations:–

(a) Putney Bridge - Motorcycles to be permitted in bus lanes on Putney Bridge following some concerns over m/c not being able to “filter” as safely following the introduction of the northbound bus lane last year

(b) Putney High Street - Introduction of double yellow lines on Putney High Street – no change to Loading however double yellow lines may increase awareness of the need to keep the road clear and prevent off peak parking

(c) Lower Richmond Road – Removal of shared use CPZ bays on Lower Richmond Road by the Star and Garter – to facilitate two lanes eastbound to reduce delays to eastbound traffic turning right onto Putney High Street otherwise delayed by those queuing for the heavier left turn flow; especially in the AM peak. Double yellow lines from Thames Place to the Embankment by Thai Square. There is no change to Loading restrictions

(d) Permanent removal of parking bays on Putney Embankment between Lower Richmond Road and Thames Place;

(e) Putney Bridge Road – introduce double yellow lines between Brewhouse Lane and the existing double yellow lines, no change to Loading

3. 1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make the above orders under sections 6, 45, 46 and 49 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

2. The general effects of the Orders will be to

(a) Introduce a road closure in Totterdown Street between its junction with St Cyprian’s Street and its junction with Blakenham Road except for cycles that can proceed eastbound on the designated cycle lane in that stretch of Totterdown Street;

(b) Introduce one-way working with contra-flow cycling in Totterdown Street (between its junctions with Tooting High Street and St Cyprian’s Street), St Cyprian’s Street and Kellino Street (between its junctions with Blakenham Road and St Cyprian’s Street), with vehicular flow being in an anti-clockwise direction

(c) Make Kellino Street a westbound direction one-way street with contra-flow cycling (between its junction with Upper Tooting Road and its junction with Blakenham Road);

(d) Prohibit all westbound traffic in Kellino Street from turning left at the junction of Kellino Street with St Cyprian’s Street, except for cycles;

(e) Prohibit all northbound traffic in St Cyprian’s Street from turning right into Kellino Street, except cycles;

(f) Remove all loading and parking bays in Totterdown Street, in the extension managed by WBC, between Tooting High Street and the junction with St Cyprian’s Street. Installation of double yellow line and double blips (no waiting and no loading restrictions) in all this extension;

(g) Remove 11m of parking bay outside numbers 23–27 Kellino Street and installation of DYL;

(h) Reduce by 3m the parking bay opposite number 25 Kellino Street and extension of DYL;

(i) Reduce by 2m the parking bay in St Cyprian’s Street near the flank wall of number 26 Kellino Street and extension of DYL;

(j) Reduce by 1.4m the parking bay outside 41/43 Kellino Street and extension of SYL;

(k) Retain ‘no entry’ prohibition to all westbound traffic into Totterdown Street at the junction with Blakenham Road, except for vehicular access to property number 28 Totterdown Street, by lowering the telescopic bollards at this location

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE – HOLDERNESSE ROAD SW17

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Holdernesse Road to facilitate Thames water utility works.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Holdernesse Road at the junction with Trinity Road. Works to be carried out over two weekends (Sat & Sun only):

• 11/10/2025 – 12/10/2025

• 18/10/2025 – 19/10/2025

There will be no waiting at any time.

3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

5. The order will come into operation on 11 October 2025 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The Order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be completed by 12 October 2025.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE – PRETORIA ROAD SW16

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Pretoria Road to facilitate Thames Water utility works.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Pretoria Road from outside number 10 to the junction with Thrale Road. There will be no waiting 09:30–15:00.

3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

5. The order will come into operation on 6 October 2025 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The Order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 7 October 2025.
