The County of Cornwall (Road From Hollywood Head To Race Course Road, Blisland) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Blisland.

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 27th October 2025 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Hollywood Head To Race Course Road, Blisland from junction with Access To Smiths Farm to junction with Road From Junction South West Of Lower Kernick To Junction East Of Higher Kernicks.

The County of Cornwall (Road From Quintrell Road To Junction North Of Manuels Farm, Newquay) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Newquay.

This prohibition is necessary for works for replacement of telegraph pole and it is expected that the closure will be from 31st October 2025 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Quintrell Road To Junction North Of Manuels Farm, Newquay from grid reference SW 84126:60742 to junction with Access To Gusti Vean Cottages.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under 
Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Par.

This prohibition is necessary for essential tree works and it is expected that the closure will be from 29th October 2025 to 30th October 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1700, weekdays only.

Road affected - St Andrews Road, Par between Level Crossing and junction with Access To Windrush.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bodmin.

This prohibition is necessary for drainage investigation and repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 27th October 2025 to 31st October 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - Poltip, Bodmin between Poltip Cottage and property known as Meadow View.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Wadebridge.

This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 27th October 2025 to 1st November 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Roads affected - Church Town, Trenance Road, Wadebridge from outside Rose Cottage to outside Little Owls Barn.

Temporary Speed Restriction Order 202

 Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 12th June 2025 continuing to impose a temporary speed restriction of 30 MPH over an area of highway being Roche Road, Route Of New A391 From Stenalees Roundabout To Trezaise, Higher Trezaise, Trezaise Road, Fore Street, Victoria Road, Edgcumbe Road, Stenalees from Tregoss Roundabout to Singlerose Roundabout for approximately 5675 Metres.

The Council is satisfied that this further restriction if necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the workforce during works to finish St Austell to A30 Link Road.

The Order which commenced on the 13th June 2025 and is currently in force for up to eighteen months will now continue until the 31st October 2025. The restriction will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

 Temporary Speed Restriction Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 17th April 2025 continuing to impose a temporary speed restriction of 30 MPH over an area of highway being Harmony Road, Roche between grid references SW98010 60119 and SW98250 60109 for approximately 243 metres.

The Council is satisfied that this further restriction if necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed because works for the St Austell Link Road are being executed on or near the road.

The Order which commenced on the 18th April 2025 and is currently in force for up to eighteen months will now continue until the 31st October 2025.

Temporary Speed Restriction Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 30th December 2025 continuing to impose a temporary speed restriction of 30 MPH over an area of highway being Road From Tregoss Roundabout To Victoria Interchange, Roche from Victoria Cottage to eastern end entrance of Texaco Garage for approximately 360 metres.

The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed because works to widen footway as part of the St Austell Link Road Scheme are being executed on or near the road. 

The Order which commenced on the 13th January 2025 and is currently in force for up to eighteen months will now continue until the 16th October 2025.

The restriction will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 29th September 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Boscastle. 

This prohibition is necessary for new water connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 13th October 2025 to 17th October 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - High Street, Boscastle between properties known as Bottreaux House Hotel and The Old Brig Inn.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 29th September 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Lanteglos. 

This prohibition is necessary for overhead telecom works and it is expected that the closure will be from 16th October 2025 to 17th October 2025..

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.
