What is happening?

STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – (AS AMENDED)
PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 21 SANDON AND BURSTON PARISH (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council, on 25/9/25, made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding along the following length of Public Footpath No. 21 Sandon and Burston Parish from junction B5066 for approximately 420m West to the junction of the Footpath with Jolpool Lane for a period of six months or until the risk of danger to the public is over, whichever is the earlier.

The closure is required under the provision of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 Section 14 (1) (b) due to the unsafe condition of the bridge and subsequent works required.

No alternative route is available.

A plan will be displayed on site to show the length of path to be closed and unaffected rights of way in the area.

This Order shall come into operation on 30/9/25 and continues the restriction that came in to force on 11/9/25 and may be cited as the Staffordshire County Council Public Footpath No. 21 Sandon and Burston Parish (Temporary Closure) Order 2025.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC 

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:

Fulford Dale, Fulford. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/ ?tm=144767099. The Order will come into operation on 16/10/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 16/10/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
