NOTICE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH ORDER FOOTPATHS U45, U46 and U47 PUBLIC FOOTPATHS DIVERSION and STOPPING UP ORDER 2025
TOWN & COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14
The above Order was made on 1 October 2025. The effect of the Order will be to divert and stop up a section of: Footpath U45 (“U45”) from the Western most point where U45 meets Footpaths U46 and U47 as shown in pink dotted lines on the Plan attached to the Order (“Plan”). The overall length of the diversion measures approximately 85.3 metres (measuring from 51.573613, -0.451938 to 51.573620, -0.450800). The overall section to be permanently stopped up measures 92.8m (measuring from 51.573512, -0.45193747 to 51.573986, -0.44975549). Footpath U46 (“U46”), routed East from Breakspear Road South to the River Pinn as shown in red dotted lines on the plan attached to the Order. The overall length of the diversion measures approximately 112.15 metres (measuring from 51.573115, -0.450365 to 51.573613, -0.451938). The overall section of U46 to be permanently stopped up measures 129.35m (measuring 51.573839, -0.45364335 to 51.573512, -0.45193747). Footpath U47 (“U47”), at the Northern most point where U47 meets U45 and U46 as shown in brown dotted lines on the Plan. The overall length of the diversion measures approximately 23.55 metres (measuring from 51.573613, -0.451938 to 51.573426, -0.452095). The overall section of U47 to be permanently stopped up measures 8.1m (measuring 51.573512, -0.45193747 to 51.572382, -0.44884622). A copy of the Order and Plan may be inspected free of charge from 9.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday at the London Borough of Hillingdon offices, at Main Reception, Civic Centre, High Street, Uxbridge UB8 1UW and on the Council’s website under planning application reference 79109/APP/2024/2760 https://planning.hillingdon.gov.uk/ OcellaWeb/planningSearch. Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to the Head of Development Management and Building Control, London Borough of Hillingdon, Civic Centre, High Street, Uxbridge UB8 1UW or by email to planning@hilingdon.gov.uk not later than 29 October 2025. Please quote “Footpaths U45, U46 and U47 Public Footpaths Diversion and Stopping Up Order 2025”. Please state the grounds on which any representations are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if so made are withdrawn, London Borough of Hillingdon may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
