17091510 Birmingham Road Service Road Etc, Wylde Green - Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic
What is happening?
BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL (17091510 BIRMINGHAM ROAD SERVICE ROAD ETC, WYLDE GREEN) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be;
(i) to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in either direction along BIRMINGHAM ROAD SERVICE ROAD between its junction with Woodleigh Road and its junction with Oakhurst Road.
(ii) to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in either direction along OAKHURST ROAD between its junction with Birmingham Road and its junction with Hillcrest Road.
The temporary Order is required to allow utility works to be carried out in safety.
An alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via Woodleigh Road and Hillcrest Road.
Access to frontages will be maintained as necessary.
These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
The Order will come into operation on 20th October 2025 and will remain in force for a period of 6 weeks or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
